Despite being distilled in 2013 and 2014, this is a surprisingly mature Single Malt having spent its life in the finest European oak and ex-Sherry casks. Strathearn Distillery joined the Douglas Laing family in October 2019 and, in-line with our approach, this Small Batch bottling is offered proudly at 46.6% alcohol strength, without colouring or chill-filtration

Tasting Notes
A DRY OAK STYLE BALANCED BY A LEATHERY SWEETNESS AND HONEYED BARLEY.
Nose
A dry oak style balanced by caramel with a touch of vanilla.
Palate
The Sherried heritage is apparent with a leathery sweetness plus red fruits and cocoa.
Finish
Butterscotch lingers long with honeyed barley and oat biscuits.
